Note: In Palestine, BDS Campaign events were launched during Israeli Apartheid Week as the beginning of a month of activities, actions, and events leading up to the Global BDS Day of Action on 30 March 2009. This is why many of the events take place after 9 March, but under the heading of Israeli Apartheid Week.

Our Activities for Israeli Apartheid Week 2009 will include:
**The Students Council and the university cafeteria will issue a statement to make the university a space free of Israeli products.

**Presentation on the current situation in Jerusalem and case study on Veolia as an example of effective solidarity.

The Right of Return: Not for Sale
March 15 (10am - 4pm) - March 16 (12pm - 4pm)
Exhibit of photos and posters about the Ongoing Nakba and the BDS campaign as part of the movement for the implementation of Palestinian refugees' rights to Reparations (Return, Restitution and Compensation)

The exhibit will include the distribution and sale of materials about Palestinian refugee rights, short films and documentary screenings, and will conclude (March 9: 3pm-4pm) with a student meeting to discuss the role of university students in the BDS Movement.

Outreach Activities in Shufat Camp, Anata, Dahiyat al-Bareed, and al-Ram

Distribution of leaflets, posters and stickers calling for BDS to raise awareness about the BDS campaign, and mobilize for the 30 March central demonstration in Ramallah.
